Savor digs into how people live and how they eat – and why. Hosts Anney Reese and Lauren Vogelbaum interview the culinary creators and consumers of the world, exploring the science, history, and of food and drink, all with a key question in mind: Why do we like what we like, and how can we find more of those things?

I like the idea of this podcast and will check back with them to see what happens as the episodes go on. My impression of the first two is that they’re waaaaay too long, with info that’s not all that interesting and banter that’s just filler. A tightly edited version of this pod that tells a good story could be awesome.

Far too much giggling, dramatics, and punning. Distracted from the content which otherwise could have been interesting.

I like the subjects and content thus far however, the constant nervous/fake laughter is extremely distracting. Whether they are giggling about slavery on sugar plantations or frozen fish sticks, it takes away from the educational focus that SYSK podcasts have.
