Hi,
I’m 23 and have experienced the following symptoms for maybe 6 years:
Dull Ache in Left testicle which radiates to groin and pelvis area
Very weak urine flow and sometimes pain or burning sensation when urinating
Difficulty maintaining an erection
Can sometimes experience pain when ejaculating
Always need to urinate at night
I have had three urinary tract infections passing blood on two occassions. Just recently have passed blood with no pain. Sometimes when ejactulating this reduces some of the acheing pain. I’m very concerned about this. I just wondered what is more likely to be the cause. I have had many urine/blood tests and all are perfectly normal but never an ultrasound. Would the fact I’ve had these issues for many years reduce the chances of it being something life threatening or is this irrelevant. I am trying every solution now to try and get this sorted.

Hello Mallo_28 and thanks for posting,
I’m afraid we can’t ever say what is the matter medically. Our best advice to anyone experiencing persistent symptoms like yours is to see a doctor and get properly checked out, or to go back and talk things over again.
You can read about testicular cancer symptoms on our website at this link. But even if a man has some of these symptoms, he might not have cancer as they can occur for other reasons. I think the fact that you have had these issues for years means it is time to get to the bottom of them, so if your GP can’t explain things, you could ask if it is possible to see a urology specialist.
If you want to talk anything over please do give us a call on Freephone 0808 800 4040, we are around from 9-5, Monday to Friday.
Take care,
Julia
