Hi
I tecently had a biopsy for BCC and the doctors seem to think this is definitely the case. Im waiting for the results. However I have a slight swelling in my throat and under my armpit. I was referred for an ultrasound. Whilst there they ended up doing a mammogram (which turned out to be clear) but never scanned my armpit and discharged me. Amyway they then telephoned me and apologised and invited me back in but I didn’t go as I had missed a lot off time from work, (fractured my shoulder prior to all this). Anyway lately Ive noticed I have been getting really short of breath and I’m terrified I have melanoma and it’s spread to my lymph nodes. Pribably worrying over nothing but cant really talk to anyone. Don’t want to worry my teenage children.
Anyone else experienced this?

Hi Chelseagirl,
I’m sorry to hear about all the health problems you’ve been experiencing. It’s totally understandable that you’re feeling worried about your new symptoms.
There could be any number of reasons that you’re feeling short of breath but it’s definitely worth making an appointment with your GP to get it checked out. If further tests are needed they’ll be able to arrange these and hopefully they’ll be able to reassure you.
