Hello everyone.

I’m in quite a dark place at the moment and maybe someone had similar experiences to mine and can advise me. I try to be short.

Since March l was feeling like something was stuck in my throat, like a lump. Later l started to feel earache and sensation that someone was pulling skin on my face. Went to GP they said it’s nothing to worry about. Did blood test -everything was fine. In May ,because nothing went away , went back to GP -suggested can be a  Globus Sensation, prescribed Omeprazole. Nothing went away. Still there.

Also in May l found a lump in my clavicle. Since May l saw ENT, had ultrasound for that lump. Everything comebacks as being normal.

Since end of May l’m having horrible abdominal pain with diarrhea. I had head MRI; neck, abdominal and pelvis CT; gastroscopy; abdominal ultrasound, lots of blood tests including for infections. All tests coming back as being normal. Only showed that l had past Ep Stein Barr virus.

During May l lost 6 kilos, lump in my clavicle is pressing to bones,  a wake up nearly every night in sweat, l had itchy feets, lost appetite, fatigue, no energy at all ,abdominal pain, diarrhea (6-8 times a day since 23 July), bad pain in my spine, specially when laying down, earche and facial pain.

But because ultrasound of lymph node in my clavicle didn’t show anything abnormal ( they said it’s about 3cm only) doctors don’t want to do a biopsy. Even if NHS website clearly says that the only way to diagnose lymphoma is biopsy.

I’m really getting stressed and worried, because l know l’m not right.  But because every test comes back normal,  Doctors tell me that l’m all right but my body is crying out for help. l’m on sick leave since end of May.

Maybe someone had similar experiences before.

Thank you for reading ❤️

P.S. prior March l was absolutely fine, healthy lifestyle with lots of exercises. Working, looking after my family and enjoying life.

Hey sorry to hear your suffering. I can sympathise with your symptoms but no lump. I honestly do not know what to suggest as i am in same boat as you. I suffer 24/7 from symptoms where i am bedridden. Apparently i have complained of over 50 symptoms however all tests normal. They are saying GAD and severe depression but i do not believe it. What are your docs saying should happen next?

Hi.

Sorry to hear that you are in same boat and thank you for your reply. My GP keep telling that l’m healthy and doctor at hospital suggest that it’s all in my head, that l should stop worrying myself and enjoy my life.

I’ve got a small lump – lymph node they said it’s only 3cm, they are not going to perform biopsy on such a small node, to be able to do biopsy doctor said they will have to cut out whole node and that l really don’t want this.

I’m really depressed right now too, because it’s been going for 3 months. And l just feel like doctors think l’m a “nut job”.

What are your doctor’s suggesting to do next? What test did you had?

Yeah that is what they say when results come back negative. I have had about 7 doctors tell me it is all in my head. How can life be enjoyed when you are struggling.

So they are not worried about the lump that is good as it is too small. No point putting yourself through so much pain. I have tried explaining to docs that i am depressed as a result of my health. I have been suffering for 8 months so obviously we would be depressed. I am so fatigued to the point i cannot work out, cant get out of bed or get myself to go outside. I have brain fog, clogged and ringing ears, chronic sinusitis with difficulty breathing, extreme fatigue, constipation, numbness throughout body, stiffness throughout body, poor night vision/hazy vision, lightheaded, dizzy. I do not go out feel so disconnected from the world.

I have head a head mri with contrast, ct scan chest/abdomen/pelvis with contrast, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, nasoendoscopy, chest xray, ultrasound of testicles, ultrasound of urinary tract, 3x blood tests, 5x ecgs, 8x blood pressure check, dental examination, eye test. All tests normal and it makes me look like a psycho.

Just like you i honestly do not know what to do anymore.

Sorry to hear about this. You had so many tests and l know how annoying it’s when every test comes back normal. Not knowing is the worst part. I do feel for you. Can imagine what you are feeling, because l started even query my sanity myself. Never thought in 21st century l would come across something like that. I was positive, that everything can be diagnosed very quickly nowadays.

Take care. Hope you’ll find your answers soon.
