Hi,  just been diagnosed with lymph node tumour in my cheek,  am awaiting scans.
it’s hard like a pea ,  growing,  gone from 0.5 to 1.2 in 6 months ( lockdown )  .  I’m always tired of late ,  have night sweats ( think that’s my age! )

has anyone else had this ?  Scans will tell if it’s begnign or not.  Had bloods and generally quite worried.   Can anyone relate ?

Hello

It is difficult waiting for results of tests, but it sounds like the medical team don’t really know what this is yet.  It is quite possible that it will turn out to be benign (not cancer) so try not to worry too much until you have the results of any further tests.  If the lump is infected, that could cause sweats so this might not be an indication of anything sinister.  Its probably best not to look at the internet too much until you know what it is, you won’t get any certainty until you get the next lot of tests done.

I hope that helps

Martin
