Hello,
For the past year or I have experienced a discomfort in my legs, especially at night!
I have also been getting pain in my hand, especially when I’m using it too much.
Recently my gp has referred me to the breast clinic to get a lump looked at on my right breast, I cant help but think it’s all related and the cancer has already spread to my bones maybe more.
I know deep down I am overreacting, however I suffer severe with anxiety and depression and cant help but always think the worse.
Did anyone else have similar symptoms before being diagnosed?
Any advice on what i can do to help relax my thoughts and nerves?
Thankyou all

Hi Miley1989,
Welcome to Cancer Chat. It’s good to hear you have a referral to get this checked out, although I know the uncertainty and waiting for information can be difficult.
Try not to assume it’s all connected – easier said than done I know. Sometimes anxiety can cause or exacerbate certain feelings/symptoms.
I’d encourage you to try to keep busy and distracted and to focus on things you enjoy where possible while you are waiting for the appointment. Try not to dwell on things in the meantime. The appointment will provide the info you need.
Wishing you all the best,
Ben
