The process of canning the meat is completely different than your typical grocery store purchased can meat. The Survival Cave meats are all hand cut and hand-selected. The cans are filled with raw meat – no water is ever added. A pinch of salt is added, and the cans are sealed and slow pressure cooked giving it a much longer shelf life. USDA inspectors are in the facility full time and the process has been the same for generations. Grocery store purchased cans of meat typically have an 18-month expiration date and are often loaded with fillers, preservatives, and growth hormones. Only with Survival Cave meats can you enjoy all-natural healthy protein with the shelf life of 25 years.
No water is ever added to the canned meats. As with all meats, shrinking occurs when cooking and natural juices are expelled. The only juices in the can are natural juices from the meat cooking.

The “Jumbo” cans are small. False advertising
We’re sorry you feel that there is false advertising with the Survival Cave canned meat. Jumbo is a relative term and we also have customers that feel the same cans are too big. These are 28oz cans in cases that each contain 12 cans of high-quality cuts of meat.
Several cans were shipped damaged. Survival Frog stated they would replace the cans, but I have not received them yet. The product took about a month longer to receive than what was stated when I ordered.

Ordered primarily for long-term food supply, but tried a can of chicken and a can of beef. They were both fantastic. We love them and are completely satisfied. Great quality and impeccable customer service.
Most survival food is too high in carbs for most diabetics this will makes my preps better , no fillers , no soy , just meat . I will be adding more of this meat to my supplies.
