I have a bone tumour, shown on X-ray and 2 mris. I was told it’s likely benign, but we want to be sure. I had a biopsy 10 days ago. The doctor’s secretary called today and said that the doctor wants to see me this afternoon. Is that a bad sign? Has anyone else been called in to discuss results on the same day?

It’s easy to be worried when you get a phone call and are given a quite appointment to see the Consultant. Naturally people can read lots of things into the speed in which it’s moving.
Try to stay positive. It could just be that the Consultant has space in clinic this afternoon and they don’t want you to wait another week for your results.

It wasn’t great news. Very rare form of bone cancer. Low-grade and caught it early though, so could be worse
