It’s Amazon Prime Day, where low prices and free shipping are externalized to underpaid and overworked employees exposed to grueling physical labor. 📦

Growing your own food is very satisfying.

We like to pop outside, pluck some greens, &throw them on the pan after a rinse.

It’s WAY better for the environment, too. Gardens can sequester more carbon than lawns. Plus: no mowing (&no gasoline)!

Let’s bring back victory gardens🌱

Americans use roughly 7 billion gallons of water a day to irrigate lawns. What if instead of well-kept grass, we used our time and resources to fill our lawns with fruits and vegetables?

Why are Asian countries blamed for plastic pollution when a majority of the plastic waste there are shipped from the U.S. and Europe?

Churches across the USA own millions of acres of land and much of that land is used just to grow grass. Pastor Sarah Robinson is using her churchyard to grow healthy food and feed the community!

Statistics about food waste are daunting. In a country where about 40 million people face food insecurity, we throw away nearly half of the food we buy. That’s why is doing something about it: raising awareness by eating only food he has grown or foraged.
