Hi I’m sat here worries sick so I’m sorry if I ramble. I wa sering out the shower and did my usual check (mum had cancer so always check) I noticed a indentation/dimpling on my right breast to the far right just at the top of my breast. All I’m finding is that it is a sign n worse it means it’s advanced. I should note that it sonly when my arms are down and recently I’ve been losing weight but even though losing weight my right breast seems to have swelled. Very very worried. Thank you to anyone who responds to this. ❤️

Hi emma

no one on here can tell you what this is, if I were you I’d make an appointment with your GP. Not all dimpling is a sign of cancer but best that you get it checked out. Hopefully it won’t be anything serious.

Hi. Just seen your post so have joined this group so I can reply with my experience. Sorry, but you sound very much like myself… I have dimpling/orange peel/and indentation/firmness at top of my outer left breast. I’d put off getting it checked  out stupidly, because I was too self conscious, so with my 50th birthday & daughters wedding to  ‘enjoy’, just kept the worry to myself. I was sent an appointment for  my 1st standard mammogram, and so at the last minute decided to tell my husband about it the night before, and asked him to go with me. That was a good decision.. I had my mammogram, was then recalled for a biopsy, and have just been told that I have grade 2 breast cancer – which hopefully, means it can be treated. I’m having a lumpectomp (which is a day case op), then will need radiotherapy & anything else I may need after tests. If I hadn’t have gone when I did, and put it off, I guess things would have got much worse! So please, just take the plunge and jump on the rollacoaster.. and hopefully you’ll be ok. I found the worrying was much worse than the ride, so far….  Good Luck x
