I was thinking about getting into a link exchange myself, but I have read somewhere that if at some point in the future links that you are linked to will change their content from good to bad, you will be penalized by Google by simply being associated with them. That means that you manually have to check all of your link partners’ links on a regular basis to make sure no links turned bad and that could be quite a hassle. Do you know, what could be an alternative solution to the effective link building? Thanks
You definitely do need to be aware of who you are linking to. If you are linking to a bad seed that could be a penalty against you.
They magic trick to linking is having content that people want to link to. You want to have something of value on your site that people will look at and say, “hey, that’s cool. I want others to know about this.”
